Taxidermy Price Guide

Any roadkill picked up must be accompanied by a possession permit. Its free to do, click on the link below to connect with the Ontario MNR portal

Register your roadkill with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources

A deposit of 50% is required at time of drop off along with proper tag / permit / trappers license 

Open Mouth is an additional $300 for small mammals, $450+ for medium mammals and bears

All full-body mammal mounts include a standard driftwood base sourced from the shores of Lake Erie. Custom rock bases can be arranged for an additional fee, depending on size

Custom habitats, base work and pedestals are also available

Please note that I do not currently offer taxidermy services for waterfowl, fish or offer European mounts. I would be pleased to refer you to qualified taxidermists in Ontario who specialize in these areas

Full Body Mounts

To ensure the highest quality result, I ask that all specimens be frozen individually as promptly as possible following harvest or find. Timely freezing is essential in preventing bacterial growth, which can lead to hair slippage and compromise the integrity of your mount.

Shoulder Mounts

To preserve the finest detail and quality of your shoulder mount, proper field care is essential. Please cape your specimen as soon as possible after harvest and freeze it promptly. Please refer to the diagrams below for proper caping instructions. Deer hides are particularly delicate due to having hair as opposed to fur, and are susceptible to easy breakage and or slippage — if you are unable to freeze immediately, we encourage you to contact us to arrange a timely drop-off.

Rugs

All rugs are handsewn, come with thick padding, felt backing, and rings for hanging. If you prefer another fabric rather than felt we are happy to accommodate your request. Processing time is minimum 1 year. All rugs are priced per foot nose to rump.
